Seachem Laboratories Acid Buffer is a non-phosphate solution designed to decrease pH levels while working in tandem with Alkaline Buffer. Tailored for planted aquariums or areas with hard water, this product helps avoid algae growth or water cloudiness that can result from phosphate-based buffers. When combined with Alkaline Buffer, Acid Buffer effectively maintains pH levels between 6.0 and 8.0. It also transforms carbonate alkalinity (KH) into usable CO2 as it reduces pH.
